Allan Jozy is the stage name of Wim Soens, a pianist and composer based in Belgium. Originally trained as a classical pianist, Wim began studying jazz quite late in his career, inspired by the passion and intensity he had witnessed in live performances by some of the jazz icons of our time. His music style is situated at the crossroads of neo-classical, jazz and cinematic.

 

As an artist and producer, Wim spends a lot of time in his recording studio, but Wim's journey through jazz made him realize how much he missed the element of live improvisation in his creative work. In addition to composing and producing music, he enjoys performing on stage with the Allan Jozy Quartet.
