Life is a lot like jazz...
it's best when you improvise.
George Gershwin
Allan Jozy is the stage name of Wim Soens, a Belgian composer, producer and pianist. His music style is situated at the crossroads of contemporary classical, jazz and cinematic.

As a composer Jozy occasionally writes orchestral scores for feature films, such as additional music for 'Gloves of Stone' (starring Martin Sheen) and 'The Scarf' among other commissioned work. He equally enjoys working on his own projects, where he can venture off freely into undiscovered territories of ethnic, jazz and classical music to find inspiration.

In 2023 Jozy released his first solo EP 'Rubble' on his personal label Mas Que Nada. He started writing the music for this EP after seeing the shocking images of the bombed-out theater in Mariupol, which became a symbol for the child victims of violence, terrorism and war. The music of Rubble is rather dark and dissonant, but it also radiates hope at times.
On his second album, the ‘The Time We Are Given’, Jozy returns to seek connection in beauty and harmony. With delicate piano performances, blended with a string quartet and electronic soundscapes, Jozy is taking you on a reflective journey through the essence of time. His unique fusion of contemporary classical, jazz, and cinematic styles encapsulates the beauty and urgency of time and urges us all to cherish every moment of our life.

In addition to composing and producing music, Allan Jozy enjoys performing on stage with his Jazz Quartet.
